Stay Clear of this Amherstburg Builder, so many QUALITY builders to choose from.

The finer details were ALL over looked during the construction of our home. Even the simple things were missed and when I pointed out a potential problem the builder poo-pooed me. The site forman tried to help on many occasions but informed me that Mr. Dejonge was not prepared to proceed with resolving my issues untill absolutly required. Comunnication is horrible with Everjonge Homes and I feel sorry for his burdened staff and trades that are put in the middle.

Very helpful until the closing day, once they received their money it was hard to get them back. Mold, water/ice on inside basement wall. Had to re-do all basement insulation the proper way. Poor quality but usually cheaper than the rest. Will spend a little extra next time for a better builder.

In the process of the building of our home we had found many things wrong. It is been an on going issue. I believe the builder should be acountable for items that are not supplied by him. When there was a major problem with the home we were not notified and that lead to problems for us to deal with. The communication from the builder and his co- worker in my opinion needs a strong improvement as they do not know how to communicate. We love the home but we feel that the problems we have could have been avoided if he would have cared more for us the home owners. This would be one builder in my mind forever not to recommend to anyone.

Overall, very satisfied with the house itself and the quality of workmanship but very poor customer service. We don't feel we were treated very fairly, especially towards the end when closing was delayed only three days before possession. Great value for the money, beautiful home but not worth the hassles and endless problems.
