Experience regarding an item that was not corrected: Ensuite bathroom door and masterbedroom door are perpendicular to each other. Ensuite bathroom door is installed backward (opens outward), Master bedroom door opens inward. The doors hit each other when opened at the same time. This is in conflict with the design / drawings within the purchase agreement. This mistake was not reported until after 6 month of unit occupation. Request to Builder (Amacon) to fix it is denied as it is not an emergency. Item noted in the Year-End form. Tarion - the builders warranty provider denies owner's claim of warranty. Amacon representative states since it is not warranted, it is up to the owners to fix this issue. The above is kept as factual as possible. The builder does not fix issues resulted from its construction's crew's error.
