Buy your from Roshaven in this community instead Aspen Ridge

Builder stated schools and a church would be built in the area.. they even listed it on the plans.. now they plan to build more home in those spaces insted of providing a school. The builder also sold homes and charged for backing of woodlots that would eventualy be cut down. People in the community had to come together to resolve this issue with the city. While the homes look great the quality of work is not the best. They did close on time but with so many things not completed. Sales person was not friendly and very rude once the home was purchased. Good thing is the community is great and people in the area are nice. We do love our home more because of the location.. it has nothing to do with the builder.

Some very bad, some very good

It's interesting to read others' comments on Aspen Rigde as I share very similar experience. The primary sales lady (those who have been to the sales office know who I'm talking about) is not rude, she's extremely rude and arrogant. I know several people who refused to purchase from her went next door to National or RH. Aparently, there is this ongoing joke with people at National who feel the Aspen Ridge lady is actualy generating sales for National. Enough about sales. Overall, we are very happy with the house itself and intend to stay in it for a long time. The house was built very well structurally. according to a 500 dollar inspector, who really completemented the site super for overseeing the work. Inside, there were many cosmetic deificiencies throughout the house, but those can be easily rectified. There were a couple of more significant issues but after some painful convincing and discussions with customer service, those were resolved. Speaking of customer service, this is the second weak point of Aspen Ridge. The service rep seems to think that everything is "up to code" and that nothing can be done to fix things. You really have to push hard to get things done. Often, inital repairs repairs require a second visit or third or fourth. They don't always keep their appointments, and often forget to call trades to book a service call. Many items from PDI were still unresolved at 1 yr. Would I buy from AR again? If they changed their sales and their attitude in customer service..in a heartbeat.

Think befor you buy a new home.

Th builder's representatives are extremely rude and do not fulfill their promises. They do not respond to concerns, ignore all letters and brush you off when you call to follow up on any concerns. The one service rep we had that tried to do a good job was moved to another site before he could even get close to finishing repairs. The Head Office customer service Rep is extremely rude and in my opinion not at all knowledgeable about building and construction. I even tried dealing with the owner but could not get a response. They oftentimes book appointments and do not show up for their scheduled times. I have lost a lot of time from work as a result of my decision to purchase with them and have had many stressful days dealing with the builder and its reps. As a result of my experience I will never purchase a new home again and I would warn anyone against this option as well.

Aspen Ridges - Home sweet home..NOT!!

This whole has been a nightmare, we've had problems after problems and all the builder can say is "this is up to code" we have drafts coming from every corner of the house, we also had shifting of all, cracks, all our windows and front door had to be replaced...after 15 months of fighting with the builder. Needless to say "DO NOT BUY FROM ASPEN RIDGE HOMES" unless you want to throw you money down the toilet!

customer service is not what i expect from a home builder and any issue we had with the house been like pulling teeth to get someone to come and fix and most of the times a second fixing is needed. Will not buy a Aspen ridge home ever again.

The only good thing I can say Is the home was completed on time . Let just say the sales person is not the nicest person after you sign the papers.. She was rude many time regarding things that did not concern her.. We purchased this home because of it location, it had noting to do with the builder or the sales person. If we could have gotten another home in the same location with a different builder we would have done that. The quality of the upgrades are there but the workmanship is very shabby.. only a few of the contractors care bout how they do the work. The corking was very bad lots of things were not completed by the time we moved in.. even after the 30 day list. We had to change the windows three times they had cracks and scratches. They did not put on our water spouts. We have been here 6 months and they still have to replace a few things. They do not keep there appointments and don’t call when they are not coming or coming. If you are coming to lakeshore woods go with Rosehaven and stay away from Aspen ridge. They are not worth the trouble. I would not buy another home with them again

Very poor initial quality. Many cosmetic defects. Almost have of the kitchen cabinets were defective. Builder refuses to fix poorly finished laminate countertop. Builder has put unsightly putty over nailholes in staircase. Left unfinished area in a mess.
