The builder from Hell and the poor little service!

Well were do I start with this poorly runed compagny... First of all we are VERY dissapointed in the poorly unproffesional service we got. All there staff are RUDE and unproffesional! They treat you like you know nothing.. I've been in client services for the past 9years and to me the client is always right regardless of the situation you always try to accomodate the client with his request. WELL with them on the other hand they treat you like a bag of dirt. They don't come when they book appointments.. so basicly you lose a day of vacation for someone that doesn't even bother calling you to reschedule. Also to note our foundation is cracked and will probably be cracked for hmmm another year or two at the paste they fix things. Well little do they know a little lawyer notice is comming there way. We are def tired of waiting for them. If they can't or wont do the work I suggest they sale the compagny to people like MINTO who can actually have respect and accomodate there buyers. Lapointe YOU SUCK! Never will we buy from YOU again and NEVER will I refer people to you! We are ashamed to say that we bought our house with your compagny!

Worst experience ever with a home builder!

I would rather saw off my arm than ever buy another house from Lapointe Developments. Too many problems to list, if there was a lemon law for houses, Lapointe would be out of business. They just do not care. After sales is a nightmare to say the least. So unprofessional! Houses are of the poorest quality. Save yourself the agony and find another builder...if you already bought, get yourself a lawyer!

No to Lapointe Homes!!

Lapointe Homes is by far the worst builder I've ever dealt with. They are incompetent, ignorant and rude.

Very disapointed first time owners - Lapointe after service is extremely poor - Save yourself problems

We are very disapointed of the purchase of our first home with Lapointe Developments. It have been a night mare since day one. Onething after the other, many times they came over to fix, but had to re-schedule since they either didn't have to right material or not enough to complete the job. Have wasted over 1 week and half during the first 1 year and still some of the 30 day items are still not completely finished. We are very disapointed first time owners which discourage me of buying a new home in the future. Workmanship is very poor most of the labour have no exprience and just do what they are told and hope that it come out for the best, which most of the work they have done up to now have been a big disapointment. Again save yourself trouble, look for a more reputable builder.

Lapointe Developments has been a disappointment to say the least. The after sales has been a nightmare. They make appointments that they do not keep. Their staff is rude and unreliable. We have been in our home just three months and are wishing that we bought a used home. They treat s like we are idiots that our concerns are trivial. I just can't express how disappointed that we are. I would not recommend this builder to anyone.

Lapointe Developments Lemon

Lapointe developments did not disclose until late in the build that the house was in the wrong spot on the property, wasn't until legal advice was sought did they admit there were issues. The house was slapped together with numerous issues including 2 roof leaks and floors that were not screwed down. Heat recovery system which was installed in a new home as if it was a retrofit. After service is non existant, you will have to beg for them to come and repair issues. That is if they actually show up when they book an appointment. Windows leak which makes the house anything but airtight for heating.

Lapointe developement is more interested in making profit than ensuring that the home buyer is satisfied. There are numerous quality issues that unfortunatly tend to be the average. The industry standard is too low. Communication with them was also troublesome. I would not buy from them again or recommend them to anyone else.
