Crappy Homes "We Care and It Shows"
WOW! Where do I start. It was as if once the deal was signed the builder took control. We faced numerous changes as well as price increases. Builder failed to deliver home on time, making us foot the bill for hotel (2 months). Builder was impossible to reason with and was quick to blame us the client for any issues. I would never ever recommend this builder to any friends and family. Since we took possession builder has failed to follow up with service requests. This builder has no idea what customer service is, nor quality control of the trades. There motto is "We care and it shows". The walls are not straight, paint is not even, flooring not installed properly, plumbing issues, windows are drafty. Yeah they pretty much took our money and ran!!! Its been 4 months since our possesion and we are still waiting to have things fixed. We will be selling and moving within the year, the whole entire build was not enjoyable at all!! Nothing but a bunch of profitiers!!!! Don't make the same mistake we did!

DON"T BUILD WITH ABBEY MASTER BUILDERS
Builder took an attitude of indifference almost immediately after sighning. Sales rep wouldn't return calls, made changes without notification, builder hired workers from out of country and province which eventually walked off the job. Framing issues never addressed, poor workmanship, with little to no supervision. Government inspector said 'Your House is Poorly Built and they should be doing something else for a living.' Sales rep would lie about what was discussed at meetings and then have sudden memory lapses insisting he never said what was earlier agreed too. Possesion dates put off for over 2 months, stalled work throughout entire job. Vice president is an idiot and can't be reasoned with. Walls leaning over, loose flooring, crooked siding, crooked entrance, sloppy interior paint job, inferior quality materials, profit gouging on all upgrades. House is freezing cold with lots of drafts. Please don't build with these profiteers in Red Deer They could 'Care less and it shows'.
