Boo! Hiss!!
Generally very disapointed in the end product. Lack of pride in workmanship is evident throughout my home. Look beneath the floorboards or behind the drywall of any Jayman home and you will find evidence of poor craftsmanship, lack of experience, down right ignorance and total incompetence. Once the initial contract is signed, the entire face of your experience shifts and you are no longer a priority. If they spent as much money and time on actually building and finishing the product as they do marketing and selling, they would be fantastic. Unfortunately, they are just a very slick marketing company whose primary goal is to make a sale, the customer instantly becomming secondary to the money they have just spent. If this company were to live up to the Smoke and Mirrors used cleverly in their PR stunts and marketing ploys, they would actually have to hire managers who knew a thing or two about the craft and building of a home, someone maybe whom, had proven skill and knowledge to share with their team. As it stands, this company is directed and run by bankers and businessmen, calling out directions to unskilled, overworked and underpaid trades who have no one overseeing their quality, or correctness of their work. We are not talking minor mistakes here. We are talking big, gigantic mistakes that compromise the safety of your home in general and even make living there questionable. The very name "MasterBuilt" exemplifies a false sense of security in the customer, as they are Master of None. I pity the fool who falls into this marketing trap, as I myself so foolishly did.
In summary, I expected much more from the largest and most profitable homebuilder in Alberta. BOO!!! HISS!! And they are just laughing all the way to the bank.
