Been in home for almost one year. Have several pages of home warranty discrepancies for builder to complete. gave up almost 2 weeks vacation to get trades in to complete much of the list. Do not call or keep new homeowners informed. Are not available on weekends or after hours to do repairs. Every problem is blamed on settleing of the house. Poor communication from Customer service. Grading went in late fall. Street not paved. Fencing was done with no imput from homeowner. Poor CUSTOMER service and not worth price paid. No upgrades or changes costly. POT lights $250.00. Requested carpet not to be put in. Refused request. Ongoing finding problems.

My family purchased a home from this builder in Aug. 2002 and to put it politely this has been a new home purchase from hell! May 2003 this Builder filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against us to keep us quiet! They told the home warranty company we denied access in hopes of forfeiting our warrantable claims under the Act. The Builder was found in Breach of Warranty May 2004. The home warranty company has made a settlement for a few of the items outstanding in Aug 2004 for just over $8,000. The other items are on Appeal at the Licence Appeal Tribunal, a total of about $60,000. We have been to the LAT for 11 days with a decision to be made shortly.
