It has been a constant struggle!!!! There is almost no communication between the builder to us. We had apporx. four pages of deficiencies when we first moved in, within the first two weeks we had to call almost daily to get contractos in and then had to make ourselves available for the contractors, and then had to clean up after the contractors. We spent our entire vacation calling contractors and cleaning up after contractors. I have also sent faxes since then which we don't get a response to. We have been in the house 4 1/2 weeks and haven't had a contarctor in for 2 weeks or a phone call. The house was very dirty also when we moved in. It took three hours and a box of green compound to clean all the dust and dirt out of the basement. We have no eavestroughs or down spouts, the front walkway is crumbling away, the finishing is terrible (I have holes in the walls, nails sticking out of baseboards), the painting isn't complete, the pocket doors on the bathrooms don't lock (there is no hardware), we had no mirrors in our bathrooms for 2 weeks, and the list goes on and on. It seems every day we find something new that is wrong because there is so much it is so overwhelming. I never expected it could be this bad. It has completely turned me off of building again.
