Almost made a mistake buying from Jager
Liked what I saw from Jager with lots of option and helpfull sales person but after doing research on the company I found a lot of unhappy customers and I was told that they could build in 6-9 months and I talked to some people that said that they have been waiting for 1+ years and still not in.

Thinking JAGER? Don't!!!!! I'm not the only one...ask around.
We purchased our Jager home in April 06, it is end of Sept 07, and they haven't started drywalling. We went to the showhome and questioned our sales rep in regards to the long wait and he told me that if I questioned him on the process again, he would write me a check back for my downpayment and I could get out of his office. We picked upgrades in electrical that were not on the plans. We have not been allowed to make ANY changes, even when they hadn't even dug our basement yet, and that took them almost a year to start by the way. Everytime we ask our builder why things are not getting done we have been fed "filler" answers with NO promises or solutions. We went back to our salesman and asked again, to which he replied that since our home was purchased so long ago that it was not a "profit" home for Jager and was no longer a "priority house" for them to build. He went on to say that we want a home, and Jager isn't in the business of selling homes, they sell houses. WOW.
