Don't buy a ROYAL TOWN HOME or GREENSBOROUGH INVESTMENTS INC. and I strongly recommend you look into the history of your builder and possible names changes over the years. LOOK OUT FOR THIS BUILDER and any future projects they can get their hands on! They will change dates and not tell you. They will lie about upgrades. They will never keep an appointment nor will their contractors. Their contractors are NOT to be trusted in your home without you standing right beside them. This is a "SHAMBLES" operation. Simply drive by and ask any of the homeowners. They are not even listed with Tarion and the town of Markham allows this to happen. Simply put, they are "Mickey Mouse" operation with no clue. Thank God we listed specifics in our contract because Tarion won't help you here either. Unless you state every plank of wood, every wall to be painted, every brick in your home, every tile in your floor, and every INCH of your home be done a specific way...TARION will NOT help you but will side with the builder because it's not stated that way in your contract. Tarion is not "Protecting Ontario's New Home Buyers." But that's another story for another website. I strongly recommend you hire a residential lawyer, who specializes in new home purchases, to look at your contract before you buy and then hire an inspector to look at your home and contract to tell you what you are getting into. All parties involed are to blame with a huge portion, 90% of it, going to the builder: 1. Royal Town Homes - see comments above! 2. Tarion - for not protecting the home owner and not doing anything about it. 3. The Town of Markham - for allowing this to take place and continuing to do nothing about it!

This builder is fairly new. I think that if they learned how to run a company from a business perspective their homes and service would have been much better. They lack in both of those areas. There has been no follow up and when they do say they are going to do something they don't. I can't tell you how many countless days my husband and I have missed do to the misscheduling of trades people. Meaning they give you a date and never show up.
