This post is intended as a warning to all those individuals who intend to hire the construction service of Scott Wideen (or Widmar construction, or Wideen Homes).

Scott Wideen will tell you what you want to hear, take your money and not honor the construction contract. Even when a BC supreme court issued a judgement against him in favor or me, he still refused to pay back the monies he essentially stole. In short this guy is a crook. All who intend to use this fellow to construct their house please be forewarned, and find somebody else. I suggest selecting a contractor who is listed in the BBB.

This guy is absolutely nothing but a headache and will tell lies through his teeth. I can't stress this enough...DO NOT USE HIS SERVICES.
