I am the father of 5 children, and after purchasing and paying in full for a brand new bungalow from this builder, we have been exposed to mould in our home because of bad building practices from this builder.
The municipality of Georgina ordered Orchid Valley Homes to clean up mould and comply by April 10, 2008, and as of yet this negligent municipality has yet to charge this builder or otherwise force him to clean up mould!
Orchid Valley Homes has absolutely NO after-sale service! The builder lies about set dates for completion of work and generally visits for one day and then is non-existent for the next 3 weeks!
After 6 months of the most horrific ordeal I have ever experienced in my lifetime, Orchid Valley HOmes has yet to even complete construction of our home!
I'm now forced to take legal action if conciliation with Tarion does not force this very bad builder to complete the work he was paid for!
I wouldn't recommend this builder to my WORST enemy!
