In 2004, we purchased a Jager Home. In September 2006, we had no choice but to take possession of our home despite it being incomplete. Jager Homes had threatened to cancel our contract and sell our home to someone else if we did not take possession. Our home was not complete. There were numerous code violations. The house was not safe to occupy.
Jager Homes then walked away from completing our house. Alberta New Warranty completed our house by March 2008. Media helped tell our story.
Meanwhile during possession Jager charged us interest on our home due to their delayed closure. CEO Don Howie lied on TV stating that we had asked for early possession.
